Karti Dlya Igo Primo
Hello all, I have a few questions for you, please. I bought new updated maps from Roadnav website and I have downloaded them. I see that they are TomTom maps and Here speed alerts, are they fully compatible with iGo Primo or are they TomTom app. I mean, may I use any kind of map supplier with iGo app or do I have to install the YomTom APK? Moreover, please, I bought a Winca S160 and I found the maps already installed on the internal sd (no external sd provided by the seller), so I'm not sure what is the correct procedure to make the iGo working with the new map.
Latest 2018 iGo Primo Europe Maps and Navigation Software For Windows CE And Android Devices. Full coverage of 47 Europe countries. Suitable for cars.
I want to leave new map on ext sd card, could they live together or do I have do delete the old one installed on the internal sd? I'd like to leave them just in case something should not work properly. Is it enough to unzip the Maps, poi.etc folders, copy them on the sd and insert it into the GPS slot or is there any particular procedure to follow? Do I ha e stimulate the iGo APK too?
Sorry for the long list of questions but I'm worried about the procedure to follow and I would like to avoid issues or software disruptions. Best regards and thanks in advance to anyone who can help me, Sergio (from Italy) . Hello Leigh, Thanks for your answer.
I already read the post you suggested but I'm not sure I found the answers to my questions. I try to better explain my doubts: 1) I'd like to know if the Tom Tom maps I bought and stored on the External sd card may be in conflict with those on the Internal sd card (the ones I already found installed in my device) or if the system allows me to choose which maps to use, or whether the systems selects the map based on a priority instruction of the firmware (for instance the GPS sd card slot is the first choice if maps also installed on internal sd.). 2) Does the already installed iGO apk work with the new map or do I necessarily have to install the latest version? As I don't feel confident with the updating procedure and I'm experiencing issues with de device then I would like to touch as less as possible in order to avoid software disruptions;-) Thanks again in advance for any assistance. Kind regards, Sergio.
Hi Sergio, 1) I don't think there will be a conflict. You can copy the Maps to the internal memory (Backup the ones that you found first). 2) An old iGO will work with new Maps. (Map files are just co-ordinate data). If it makes you feel better.
I run my iGO Maps from the SDcard. I don't use the slot for anything else and having the Maps on the card makes it easier to update them. Asc timetables 2004 download. I install iGO with the Firmware everytime I update my unit (I have the apk file in the preinstall folder).
